Summer Kelly, MS, RN, IBCLC

Summer serves as the Executive Director of the Mothers’ Milk Bank of the Western Great Lakes. She holds a BSN from Rush University and an MS in Biology from Northeastern Illinois University, where she researched the bioactive components of human milk. Summer currently serves as Past President of the Human Milk Banking Association of North America (HMBANA), where she also chairs the Accreditation Committee. She is passionate about food safety, the biology of human milk, and native prairies and their pollinators.
